TUNNELS:
Because of the often limited access to installations in heavily trafficked tunnels and due to the fatal character of the consequences if an installation fails, there are great demands to safety and redundancy regarding SCADA systems.
ÅF – Hansen & Henneberg has worked with SCADA and PLC installations on The Great Belt Link, The Oresund Bridge in Denmark and in tunnels owned by The Danish Road Directorate. Our experience covers preparation of safety concepts, overall and detailed designs, tests and supervision as well as operation and maintenance. On certain projects we also carry out smaller customized programming tasks.
